        Verdict

        Like the opening race, this seller for juveniles is also interesting but a tricky race to solve with our vote going to Straffan ahead of Zimbali and Glasson Lodge. Looking at the field. Zachy Boy at least hinted at some ability last time, although he also played up in the stalls. That last run was over six and he can be expected to be in the firing line from early on today over this shorter trip. However, Zimbali finished four-and-a-quarter lengths ahead of him on that occasion, and they meet on the same terms today (excluding riders' allowances). Glasson Lodge finished ahead of Zachy Boy and Sapphire Princess at Chepstow last time when second to Royal Cozyfire in a seller. Although acquired very cheaply, High Reach's half-sister Lady Algarhoud, a stablemate of Sapphire Princess, should be noted if supported in the betting. Nutty Times seems to have regressed since running well here in April, while Straffan drops to selling company for the first time after some creditable efforts in maidens and he should give you a good run for your money today. Finally, of the Mick Channon pair, Vroom, who finished behind Zimbali but ahead of Zachy Boy over six furlongs at Yarmouth last time, would look the stronger. She should improve on that, although her style of running that day suggested that the drop to five furlongs might not necessarily suit. It's that type of race, really, with many ifs, buts and maybes, and maybe Straffan holds the answer.
