Verdict

VICTORIANO has improved for the step up in distance and scored over today’s trip at Redcar with a bit to spare. He’s taken to defy a 6lb penalty with more to come from him. Blowing Dixie has something to find with the selection on earlier running at Redcar but Dear Miriam went close over 1m4f at Beverley on her handicap debut and this extra distance should be within her compass. Spargrove finished runner-up over 1m3f at Southwell handicapping for the first time while Snow In Spring and Tribune may well improve for this extra test of stamina and are preferred to the more exposed Bonneville.
