Verdict

THE DALEY EXPRESS failed to justify favouritism in a higher grade sprint at Goodwood last time but won over track and trip before that. He can go close again and confirm running with Waseem Faris, who went on to win here a fortnight ago when narrowly beating Peace Dreamer with Little Boy Blue further behind. King Crimson faces a tougher task after scoring at Brighton while both Coronation Cottage and Enchanted Linda found one too good on their latest starts at this venue and Redcar respectively. Mutawaffer has yet to hit form but Whataguy should improve for last month’s pipe-opener and has plenty of scope.
