Verdict

Headgear is applied to Illusionist after he failed to land the odds at Windsor last time when beaten five lengths. COOL SPHERE makes more appeal having shown ability at Leicester on his debut when beaten less than a length. Bob Cowell’s charge showed signs of inexperience on that occasion but can go one better if keeping a straight line today. Chasanda is penalised for an earlier success at Windsor while Claudia Jean is related to no less than nine winners and preferred to Red Sun of the newcomers.
