A two-year-old claimer to get proceedings underway and our vote goes to General Nuisance ahead of Docklands Dude and possibly Treat Me Wild. The selection finished second in a selling maiden at Doncaster 13 days ago, and with that run under his belt, looks to hold solid claims in a weak race, particularly given that the fourth from that debut race has since run a fair fourth in a Lingfield all-weather maiden. Docklands Dude finished just under four lengths behind the selection at Doncaster and is just two pounds better off at the weights, while Goldhill Prince has nearly six lengths to find and is five pounds better off but wears cheekpieces for the first time today. However, they both have to improve more than the selection to score here. Of the others, Petite Noir and Treat Me Wild are ones to watch out for in the betting while Nutty Times has done reasonably well on the all-weather but also probably has to improve to feature. Overall, then, the vote goes to General Nuisance.
