In depth

Verdict

TOCA MADERA finished a promising third over the 5f trip here on his debut and can open his account. Relentless Warrior and Dapperling finished second on their latest starts though both were beaten a long way while the Brighton winner Revenue and John Steed struggled on soft going last time and better is expected from them. Empire Of Light is a brother to a Group 2 winner and Ikhtiary is another newcomer to note.
