In depth
Verdict
Havana Heat revealed little on his first four starts but was backed into favouritism this month on return from a break and gelding operation, and improvement was clear to see as the Hills inmate was denied by a head. He'll prove competitive on that evidence but ZOUS BABY is preferred. The winners have started to arrive for the Cox team and the gelding can add to their tally after showing much better form this term since joining the yard. He hasn't tackled such quick conditions before but should be okay. Senor Pockets and especially Bonkersinabundance continue to frustrate, although the latter continues to suggest he's far better than his form figures indicate and now goes sprinting. Wedgewood was well beaten last time and has yet to tackle six furlongs, and Sajwaan and Lashes need to find more.
