In depth
Verdict
Bernard Spierpoint is top-rated here but only four of his 39 starts have been on turf and all four career wins have come on an artificial surface. Bluebell Way was closer last time but has yet to place for new connections and Mr Pc is 15 starts without a win. Viewfromthestars is 0-19 and only two of those runs have been on the grass so he's another who is hard to enthuse about. MASTER SULLY and Mr Fayez came home second and sixth here in a sprint handicap, since when Mr Fayez has delivered a better effort when just going under by half a length here. The pair still only have a single success between them and are hard to separate but the Teal gelding at least has a win to his name and that latest effort when only beaten a nose suggested he's capable of doubling his career tally here,
