Verdict

Gnat Alley is considered on his best form but is back from a break and has no experience of this tricky track. He'll be a player if finding the best of his form when with Tim Easterby. Course and distance winner King Of War is hard to catch right as he went very close here on his penultimate start but has also finished last on two of his last four. It's hard to know which version will turn up. Marsh Benham has won here in the past over a mile and was back to form with a battling success at Chepstow last month. He has his ground and makes appeal. However, a chance is taken with SPLIT ELEVENS. He was last of 13 on his latest start and is quirky to say the least, but he's also landed six successes and is useful in this grade on a going day. He was also successful on his last visit here in August.
