Verdict

DILIGENT LADY is penalised for winning at Windsor but did so by a wide-margin and another bold bid looks likely. Rated 82, she’s clear of Beverley runner-up Star Prize on these terms but Royal Appointment made a promising start when narrowly beaten at Chepstow and may prove a bigger threat with normal progress. Cherish is a half-sister to a couple of winners but will need to be above average to figure on her debut.
