Verdict
APEX KING made a winning debut for Ed de Giles at Lingfield on his reappearance. He’s raised 5lb but was scoring off a higher mark last season and can go in again. Mr Tyrrell has slid back down the weights since scoring over track and trip last year and is preferred to Tell William, who remains 6lb higher than when also winning here last summer. Lingfield third Poetic Force can race off a lower mark back on this surface while Kingston Kurrajong is not badly treated on last year’s winning form and looks more favourably handicapped than Buckingham.
