Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

An open contest can be taken by Kasumi, with They All Laughed, Mid Valley, Strife and Maidford others to consider. The selection went pretty well at Nottingham the other day, finishing a one length third of fifteen to Punjabi and looking capable of a fair bit better. Hughie Morrison's runners are going well and despite a handicap mark no more than fair, she can score. They All Laughed won a Wolverhampton 9f contest last time out, but this surface is much quicker and a rise in the weights should find him out. Mid Valley has a poor draw to contend with but has fast ground form to his name, although has to prove he truly gets this trip. Strife is another who has stamina to prove, but handles the ground and can be forgiven his last effort, while Maidford was a winner over a mile on the all weather last time but will find this much tougher under 7lb more. Small stakes are advised here and Kasumi is the suggestion.
