In depth

Verdict

A poor contest here where Lester Leaps In, Lenoir, Mighty Dancer and Tangarita form the short list and Lester Leaps In is the suggestion. The selection is proven on fast groun dand over the trip and has produced a level of form than would be good enough to beat most of these if he can reproduce it. He has the in form Ryan Moore to assist from the plate and is taken to score. Lenoir probably won't be far away judged on his February run at Lingfield over this trip, and he will probably appreciate a return to longer. Mighty Dancer has gone off the boil after a couple of ordinary recent efforts, but has ability and can't be totally ruled out off this mark, while Tangarita was thrashed last time but is better judged on his two previous runs, and if he could put in that sort of effort again he would surely make the frame. But winning is what counts and Lester Leaps in can do just that.
