In depth

Verdict

Another headscratcher on a day where powder is best kept dry. Analyze has been the model of consistency and rarely runs a bad race. With a number of inconsistent rivals in the field, Dean Corby's mount is given the TEAMtalk selection with Society taken to chase him home. Bond Millennium is one such horse to fall into the category of being inconsistent and is difficult to fancy over this trip. Similarly In Xanadu (another to step up in trip) has something to prove even at this level. Cosmocrat is best watched on a racecourse return for new connections while shrewd trainer, James Fanshawe has sent out Greenfield. He is difficult to recommend at face value but with rain forecast, he cannot be written off. Alsayati would be significantly better off if this were a handicap.
