In depth
Verdict
A very modest contest where a trip to the car to avoid the rush hour traffic might seem the best option. It is hoped that Broken Barricades has recovered his confidence after a recent win at Southwell. He had been progressing nicely earlier in the season but seemed to have lost his way during the Summer. That said, he wouldn't have to be Pegasus to beat many of these rivals. For these reasons he is given the TEAMtalk nod in the nightcap. Iroquois Chief may be the one to chase him home at decent odds. He ran a fair race behind Pancakehill at Lingfield last week and if he were to reproduce anything like his fifth to Plantinum Duke at Catterick, a place is a distinct possibility. Spirit's Awakening was seen putting in his best work in a Lingfield handicap last time out and the market should be noted. My Sharp Grey finished behind A Woman In Love at Brighton. The performance of that rival in an earlier contest should give a fair idea as to her chances here.
