        Verdict

        Diamond Josh, Mirasol Princess and Snow Wolf are the ones for the shortlist and a tentative vote is given to Diamond Josh. Diamond Josh is no worldbeater by any stretch of the imagination but front runners can be favoured at Bath and as he has proven that he stays six furlongs, there is every chance that he can handle the rigours of the Bath terrain. Mirasol Princess managed to put behind a two year losing streak to score at Lingfield Park. The useful James Millman will take 7lb off although this is a competitive affair on a track that is far from flat. Snow Wolf is dropped in class after a record that has seen just one victory from 34 starts. Chantelle's Dream won a weak race on the all-weather and has more to do here while Ballybunion is well in on BHB figures although his form leaves a lot to be desired. He's A Rocket looks best of the rest. With stakes at minimum levels, our preference is for Diamond Josh.
