In depth

Verdict

Easter Icon was winning at Catterick for the second time this year when successful a fortnight ago while Spiced Rum has placed in both attempts at 2m and this extra furlong will suit. Zillion and Fred Bear completed doubles earlier in the season and the former beat Tin Fandango a neck at Chepstow. Port Or Starboard and KILLALOAN have both won over hurdles this year but the latter is the more progressive and Paul Nicholls’ yard has won this twice in recent years.
