In depth

Verdict

COWBOY SOLDIER (NAP) was only beaten a head on his debut at Nottingham in October and duly went one better on his reappearance at Newcastle last month. The second has won since to frank the form and Bob Cowell could have another useful sprinter on his hands. Youkan made a winning start at Salisbury last May but hasn’t been since and also has a penalty to carry. Grandma Tilly was second here last month but further improvement would be needed. Charming Guest may have the greater scope but is another who has been off the track for a while since making his debut. Tinos looks best of the rest ahead of Glamorous Rocket.
