In depth

Verdict

Dougan has dropped down the ratings and there have been signs that he could take advantage before long. Manshood will strip fitter for last month’s run at Doncaster and is eased in grade. Pastfact is becoming a standing dish here but he’s needed a run or two in the past. THE DALEY EXPRESS made a winning reappearance at the track three weeks ago. Though probably better on ground with plenty of give, he was second on good going at Ffos Las last year so handles the surface and has only gone up 3lb. Buxted Dream and Bahamian Sunrise are others with a chance at the weights but Musselburgh third Geoff Potts usually struggles at the level.
