    Verdict

OFFICER MOR and Hatchet Man have stacks in hand of their rivals on official figures and Officer Mor can assert his authority despite being the worst off of the pair at the weights. They have upwards of 13lbs in hand of those with ratings and it's possible that Dark Desert's mark won't even reach those dizzy heights if his first two runs are anything to go by so this has the look of a match unless there's any support for the unraced Fruitful Job. Hatchet Man may be flattered by his mark as he has only beaten a handful of horses home and has probably paid for finishing close up at Brighton last time. In contrast, the selection has proved that he is well worth his rating in nurseries and, although he appears regressive, this won't take much winning and Officer Mor can get the job done.
