Verdict

RIOGA CHOICE was beaten just over three lengths behind Kilbarry Chloe at Wexford in March when conceding 5lb. The winner landed a Limerick Grade 3 next time so Henry De Bromhead's mare looks the form choice. The Friday Man won a Tramore bumper with plenty in hand and makes his hurdling debut while Virtual Oscar showed plenty of promise at Punchestown in May when behind runner-up Esperti. The latter is definitely on the upgrade though the main threat could arrive in the shape of Favorite Moon. A major handicap winner in the UK and Australia, he made his debut for Bill Durkan in a Listed race at the Curragh and is an intriguing hurdles debutant.
