In depth

Verdict

Hascoeur Clermont won this last year on his only visit to the track. He's been running poorly over fences but this should show him in a different light. Macgiloney has been here twice and won both though a very long time ago. He's been racing in slightly better class and was in the lead when falling at the last at Kilbeggan last month. EASY FELLA has been gradually improving and was very impressive in a Punchestown maiden last month, coming home 16 lengths clear. This will be tougher but an opening handicap mark of 118 may be underestimating him. Dartan arrives in top form having scored at the Curragh last month. He has a fine winning record and is another who could go higher in the ratings.
