Verdict
IVANA came in for strong support at Limerick in May and the result was never in much doubt as she cruised to a comfortable victory. Her trainer will know how she stands with Intense Approach as John McConnell's charge was just a head behind the stable's Dr Eggman at Ballinrobe when headed in the final strides. Gone For Tea was eight lengths behind another Mullins winner at Downpatrick and will need to improve while the newcomer Cape Best is a half-brother to five winners but is up against a couple of smart performers.
