Verdict
Another very informative contest in prospect here and notebooks should be kept to hand for future reference points. Especially with regard to the newcomers. However, previous experience in invaluable in these events and Great Scott is selected to get the better of Baltic Wave and Troodos Jet. The selection is typical of one of his stable's juveniles in that he improved greatly on his debut run to score a convincing victory at Haydock late last month. He holds Troodos Jet on that form and, with Kevin Darley booked for the ride, he can continue what should be a good evening for all concerned with the Mark Johnston team. Baltic Wave could do no more than win on his debut but it was a weak race and improvement is needed. Bo McGinty is the most appealing of the unraced trio and is one to monitor in the betting.
