Midlight gained his first victory in a Class 6 handicap at Ayr but has placed form at this level so it wouldn't be a shock to see a follow up. The last time Character Onesie ran at this level he won at Yarmouth and is just 2lb higher though his best form has been on much faster going. Mr Cool Cash has been in very poor form and is difficult to consider but THORNABY NASH only just failed to hold off the in-form Wink Oliver at Redcar and would go close if in that kind of form. Green Howard was beaten a long way into second at Thirsk and it's a very long time since he won.
