      Verdict

      Pass The Cristal had been threatening to win before getting up close home at Brighton and should be suited by this much stiffer track. It was a very moderate affair that CHAMPION HARBOUR won at Newcastle but he scored with a bit in hand and looks the type to make further progress so gets the nod. Il Sicario won over the course and distance and though it was a very minor handicap this isn't much better. The Stalking Moon landed a Redcar maiden in August on ground with some give so she looks one to keep on the right side.
