The three-year-old Abareeq scored over a mile at Kempton before running well here then found the competition too hot at Goodwood. AGE OF ELEGANCE has only won once in 17 starts and that was on Polytrack but she very nearly doubled her tally in a Class 3 at Chelmsford last week and can race from the same mark. She gets the nod though Intiwin, a winner from 9lb higher last summer, showed signs of a revival at Pontefract last month. Peterhouse won this last year and is 3lb lower so has to be on the shortlist while none of the remaining trio can be dismissed in a very tight handicap.
