Verdict

KING OF THE CELTS rarely runs anywhere else these days and has an excellent record here under Rachel Richardson so it will be a surprise if Tim Easterby's charge isn't thereabouts and he could be good enough to gain another course success. San Quentin has been unable to handle the rise in weights since scoring at Hamilton though San Cassiano had a subsequent winner in second when landing a ladies' event here last month. The veteran Hydrant has won twice already this summer though has probably gone up enough in the weights and the three-year-old Templier has been running very poorly.
