      Verdict

Boppys Princess was unlucky at Doncaster and is taken to make amends, with Anduril, Libre and Lucayan Dancer others for the short-list. Boppys Princess paid to follow last season, and was fancied to return with a win when lining up in a lady riders' event at Doncaster a fortnight ago. Unfortunately her partner Sarah Perry had a nightmare ride as the saddle slipped early on, and in the end she had no option but to ease down, and that race is best forgotten. So, she starts with a clean slate here, and with Tony Hamilton taking three-pound off her back she can put matters right. Anduril has been consistent on the all-weather and with fitness assured, should be in with a shout along with Libre who was noted finishing well from off the pace at Nottingham. Lucayan Dancer may prove the best of Dandy Nicholls pair, having finished second in that ladies race on Town Moor, but granted better luck this time, Boppys Princess should turn the tables and indeed come out on top overall.
