Rossa Ryan’s claim will help Ventura Magic and Richard Hannon’s gelding has claims in a race like this. Dagueneau went close stepped up to this trip at Wolverhampton while Quantatmental is eased in grade and Camden Town might be improving. Bill Cody probably ran better than expected at Redcar, his first run on Turf, but DAME NELLIE was doing her best work at the finish when second at Salisbury last month and she can go one better if reproducing that effort on this quicker surface, despite a 3lb rise.
