Verdict

JACBEQUICK finally returned to the winner's circle when taking a Redcar seller recently but it's his run here in mid-July when a respectable handicap third to Pepys which sets a decent standard at this claiming level. He is also a course and distance winner and McGovern claims a handy 5lb. Jack Nevison has every chance on the back of a solid effort at Chelmsford but the main threat has to be Dontgiveuponbob - providing he puts his best foot forward. He remains 0-15 and is inconsistent but if anywhere near the level of his Carlisle second last month he would go extremely close here with the drop in trip sure to suit. A case can be made for each of the remaining quartet in what looks a very tricky contest from a punting perspective.
