      Verdict

      Moon Of Baroda has shown notable improvement since sent handicapping and should prove competitive off a new mark of 75, up 2lb as a result of a decent Sandown effort latest. He stays further than this trip so expect to see McDonald attempt to maximise his stamina. He should also have more to come after just five career starts. Ed Dunlop's Vision Clear and Ralph Becket's Silver Crescent add further fuel to the southern raid but we'll go along with ZIHAAM to keep the prize in the north. Roger Fell is having a splendid season and both of his gelding's career successes have been delivered on stiff right-handed tracks - here and at Carlisle. Trip and ground are fine and a mark of 67 remains feasible. Hilborough and Airplane are not discounted in receipt of considerable weight from their rivals.
