Verdict

Pure Excellence and Dance Off are newcomers of interest from the Mark Johnston and Richard Fahey yards respectively and the market should provide the best guide to their chances. Red Gift needs to improve on an ordinary Newcastle debut to figure and INCHY COO makes greater appeal. Tim Easterby's filly is admittedly the most exposed member of the field but also brings the most solid form to the table, notably a good effort on her penultimate outing when hunting up Fantacise over a furlong further at Pontefract. She rates the safest option. Sleepy Haven is coming along nicely and should be noted if the subject of strong market support, although she's arguably more of a nursery type for David Barron.
