          Verdict

          These Beverley sprints are frequently tough to unravel and this looks no different. The hopeful choice is the sole three-year-old on show in John Quinn's BALTIC BOMBER. A game win over the minimum trip at Redcar was followed by a defeat just a few days ago and the return to five furlongs here looks a logical move as he faded late on last time over six. It's interesting he's returned to action so quickly. It was tempting to go along with the in-form Errigal Lad but he's yet to score over this trip and will need every gap to open at the right time to prevail. C&D winner Foreign Rhythm should be competitive off this mark, with Chosen One and Baybshambles, also C&D winners, not discounted.
