Verdict
A disappointing end to the night, as Silver City should have an easy task, with only Snow's Ride to worry about, and Ma Cherie perhaps one for the notebook. Silver City lost few friends when going down in a close finish to Almizan at Thirsk, and did not get the fast pace required when beaten at Goodwood last month. The fact remains that Amanda Perrett's charge boasts form that is far superior to his rivals, and although he probably will not get a strong pace here either, should simply outclass the others. Snow's Ride showed a glimmer of ability at Leicester, while Ma Cherie comes from a yard that is going places. Neither Of Tim Easterby's pair have impressed yet, and Silver City will be a very short price to oblige.
