    Verdict

NIETZCHE looks the one to beat despite carrying a penalty. He returned to the Turf with a six-length stroll at Nottingham last week and should take care of these in that sort of form. Shabbah will be expected to improve for powerful connections stepping up in trip today but showed little last term while The Major is another likely to do better over this longer trip. Adherence never threatened in five starts last year and Palmerston was tailed off on his reappearance.
