Verdict

By Gleneagles out of a dam that has produced numerous winners, FREYJA made a very promising start when runner-up at Salisbury and it would be no surprise to see Joe Fanning bounce her out of the stalls here and make all. High Flying Bird didn’t get much of a run when favourite at Haydock and is better than the final result suggests. Fraternity was sent off market leader at Doncaster after a second at Haydock but only managed fifth so has a bit to prove now. Afraid Of Nothing is a likely improver, however, from a yard that has an excellent strike-rate here with its juveniles.
