      Verdict

      Karisoke was an 82,000gns foal but only fetched 52,000gns as a yearling and has been slow to come to hand. He’ll need to be above average to deny MONTATHAM back-to-back victories as William Haggas’ colt only had to be pushed out to land the odds at Thirsk when Rent's Dew finished tailed off. Angel Lane was last of four at York but Cheerful ran better than expected at Pontefract and Serenading is another with scope.
