In depth
Verdict
Elsinora is no world beater, but Hughie Morrison's filly is in decent form and looks to have been found a good opportunity to land some prize money here; dangers look thin on the ground, but Bahamian Belle, Till There Was You and Military Two step are worthy of a second look. Elsinora is still a maiden, but came close to losing that tag when a neck second to Dante's Devine in a Banded Stakes at Kempton last weekend. That form is better than most of these rivals are capable of and she is certainly worth a chance here if going off at a reasonable price. It's hard to make out a case for most of her opponents, but at least Till There Was You has more scope than most, having only had the three start so far. Military Two Step is capable of beating these easily on some of its old form, but has performed abysmally in recent starts, while Bahamian Belle would have a great chance on her fourth in a Ripon Handicap in April but has also shown nothing in her latest efforts. Elsinora is in form and has shown enough ability to win a race like this, so she looks like another winner for Ryan Moore.
