      Verdict

Lenwade is in good heart and fancied to resume winning ways here, with Husky, Tartiruga and Mr Whizz likely to give her most to do. Husky must certainly be given a chance on the form of his latest fourth on turf at Lingfield in handicap company, and he won a Banded Stakes on polytrack in April. However, he has looked somewhat reluctant to put his head in front since then and is probably worth opposing. Tartiruga was not beaten far on heavy ground at Chepstow last time, and his chances would be vastly enhanced by any significant rainfall. Mr whizz finished fourth in a much better race at Chepstow last time, and had earlier won a selling handicap at this track so is definitely one for the shortlist, but we just prefer Lenwade. George Margarson's filly was a winner of a seller at Yarmouth just over a fortnight ago, after which she was bought in for 10,400 guineas. She put up another decent performance under a six pound penalty when third to the useful Daydream Dancer over course and distance last time and in this weaker race she is fancied to score again.
