Verdict

Racemaker is the form choice but it would come as no surprise were he to find at least one too good against a host of contenders who seem sure to progress from initials outings of varying degrees of promise. Plato's Kode was beaten some 12 lengths when filling the minor placing at Windsor but may improve for this better ground but MAJORIS (NAP) is the one to take the eye. A son of the great Frankel, Hugo Palmer's colt was noted staying on nicely in a decent Haydock maiden, the form of which is working out well with the winner having since been placed in Group 2 company at the Curragh and the third having obliged at Newmarket. Mutahaady has to be taken seriously as he was very green on his Bath debut but did come home to some effect and an improved performance here with the benefit of that experience seems assured.
