Verdict
Tahiti One has a 6lb penalty for an all-the-way success at Wolverhampton eight days ago but has yet to shine in six Turf starts. She's of interest but this is a tougher race and FANG is taken to defy top weight. Brian Meehan's colt had decent juvenile form, notably when runner-up to subsequent Group 1 winner Shalaa at Newmarket, which is superior to anything achieved by his rivals. He didn't show much on his return to action at Haydock after an absence of over seven months but may have had issues and things didn't really pan out for him on that comeback run. Verne Castle's maiden form is ordinary but a first-time hood could produce some improvement, whilst Peter Park should improve for his reappearance and has claims on juvenile form.
