Verdict
A wide open, trappy finale in which decent, recent form is in short supply, but JOSS STICK won last time out, and we'll side with him ahead of Green Lagonda and Lily Jicaro. Consistency isn't the middle name of any of these, and Joss Stick is hardly a world beater, and carries half a stone more than Lily Jicaro who he beat here over six furlongs last time out. It was a narrow success, but a drop in trip may suit him more than it does Lily Jicaro. Lithaam was further back in third, but hasn't progressed for that run. Lily Jicaro was well down the field here on Wednesday, and it'll be interesting to see if she's turned out again so quickly. Sofinella and Berrymead are course and distance winners, but the former's came two years ago and although the latter's was more recent, she's hardly consistent, and is poorly drawn and joint top weight. Although carrying that status too, Joss Stick is in form, and gets our vote.
