Verdict

Beacon Lady is a real course specialist but seems best in small fields and how she'll cope with a double-figure entry in this is anybody's guess. Frosty Secret has improved in blinkers and got off the mark at Yarmouth in June. More is needed here, however, while Jan De Heem has struggled off higher marks since scoring at Goodwood in the spring and it's difficult to find any encouragement in The Wonga Coup's performances this year. BALTIC BLADE showed improvement for the step to 1m2f at Lingfield last month and we'll take a chance that he stays another quarter-mile here as he's probably on a decent mark at present.
