In depth

Verdict

Joe Fanning rides Split Rock in preference to the filly Atheera but the top weight's run in a Beverley novice event last time was a big disappointment and he'll need to be at his best here. IMSHIVALLA looks a viable alternative as she's gradually been getting the hang of things and her breeding suggests she'll improve again now tackling an extra furlong. Sandsman's Girl may not be as well suited by the longer trip and Angel Rosa and Cascadia appear to have a bit to find on the form book.
