        Verdict

        Wannabe King won't be far away again and Frog Hollow ended a long losing run at York last time and looks a better bet than stablemate Powerful Presence. Ayr winner Alejandro lost nothing in defeat behind Magic City at Goodwood but King Torus only won a Lingfield claimer last month and Kung Hei Fat Choy has never won on Turf, though wasn't beaten far at Catterick last time. LAFFAN looks ideally drawn for a front-runner and is now only a pound higher than when beating Alejandro and 10 others in a competitive handicap at Epsom last summer. More like his old self at Newcastle last month, he can get back on the winning trail in this as Silver Rime is likely to find the step up in grade beyond him.
