In depth

Verdict

Only seven take to the turf for this one and we think HAND PAINTED can cruise to victory here at the main expense of Louie's Lad and La Gifted. Peter Makin has his yard in great spirits of late and our selection added to this when winning over course and distance last time. This was his first win in six attempts, but he looks to be a progressive sort and another win here, amongst less experienced company, looks to be in the offing. Louie's Lad is yet to get his head in front but has shown some improved form of late and a repeat of his last outing, when finishing second here over 5f should see him make the frame. La Gifted should do best of the remainder. The filly didn't run badly in fourth last time but she is still a maiden and is beginning to look exposed. Hand Painted looks best here in what looks to be a moderate handicap.
