Verdict

A difficult race to assess without reference to the market and Superduper is our call with Great Knight and The Lady Granuaile the dangers. Fourth in a Newmarket maiden last term, the aim for this filly looks to be that of winning a race and retiring the paddocks. On paper at least, this is the easiest opportunity she appears to have had. Great Knight ran a decent second to Johnny Lesters Hair at Thirsk. He was incredibly well backed on that occasion so the market is watched to see if the punters are chasing their losses. The Lady Granuaile makes a long journey down from the Kevin Ryan yard in North Yorkshire. She shaped with a degree of promise on her debut at Haydock and could literally be anything. Jeremy Noseda has had a couple of winners of late so don't be too surprised if Light Hearted can leave behind some moderate form on her first outing. Miss Mozart will be of interest once handicapped. Amicable Terms ran lamentably at Great Leighs and its hard to believe she is as poor as that. Superduper sets a fair standard to aim at and we believe she can find that illusive success here.
