Verdict
Magnetic Pole,Chaplin and Seeking A Way look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the tentative vote goes to Chaplin. The selection finished in mid-division in a better race than this behind Protective last time and prior to that had been a fair second. If he runs up to that mark he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Magnetic Pole has the ability to beat the selection. He was a fair second behind Flamboyant Lad last time out. That form has since been franked and he will not be far away. But he did not appear to want to go past that rival last time and for that reason he is opposed. Seeking A Way is also worthy of respect on his latest second behind Meissen at Lingfield as he looks sure to be suited by the drop in trip. Of the remainder Sarenne is from a top yard and is worth noting in the market but he needs to improve on all known form to date to trouble the principals and for the winner we return to Chaplin.
