Verdict

Echo of Light may not be much of a price on his debut but is bred in the purple and makes more appeal than those to have raced and the other newcomers, the best of who may be John Dunlop's Muraabet and Tawqeet. The selection is a Dubai Millennium half-brother to a couple of winners by Salsabil's sister Spirit Of Tara. He should be ideally suited by mile at this stage in his career and Godolphin's colt is sure to know enough first time out to be competitive. Kieren Fallon opts to ride Bold Eagle over Sir Michael Stoute's other runner Hard Top but he is likely to come into his own over middle distances next term. Of more interest may be John Dunlop's Muraabet, who like the selection is by Dubai Millennium, while stablemate Tawqeet is similarly well related. With Marcus Tregoning's stable in such good form, Cash On has to be respected, while of those to have raced both Gold Gun and Basserah are entitled to improve for their first start. David Elsworth's Ocean Gift has the advantage of experience and should win races but there are some well bred individuals on show here and it will be a surprise if one of them does not win this with the vote going to Echo Of Light.
